Well on to a fighting game today... Now which fighting game did I decide upon for this review/rant? Oddly enough I don't know why, but I figure I hit up on a more crappy game, and when I talk about crap, I must be talking about CAPCOM.

I want to review Street Fighter X Tekken. While a lot of people seem to LIKE getting screwed over on crappy quality and ripped off by bullshit DLC practices.

Content: 1/10 Anyway, Capcom recently made a comment on the reasons WHY SFxT sales were poor, they stated it was the Oversaturated market of fighting games this past year.. Well let's reflect on that a total of 9 fighting games had come out that year they mentioned... 3 of them were from different gaming companies. Mortal Kombat, Blazblue CS Extend, and Soul Caliber... the other 6 were from CAPCOM, and some were "Expansions" of that same game released BY YOU.

This is one of the reasons WHY you see lack of sales, but it's not the major issue here, the MAJOR issue why you don't see sales is, because of lack of QUALITY over QUANTITY.

Example, Blazblue has almost a DOZEN various gameplay modes, ranging from not ONLY arcade and Versus, but story, tournement, mission mode, challenges, training, and couple of adventure rpg modes. Mortal Kombat also has several modes and life extending modes to help add more depth and replay value to the game.

Almost every one of these capcom only has a single arcade mode and versus in everyone of these, that's simply. What happened to the Quality of capcom's games, anyone remember Alpha 3. It had a Full rpg mode, and as many modes as Blazblue games, it was worth getting.

Why pay 60 bucks when we can pay 6 bucks for something even better and more balanced?

Let me review what I can:

Story: 2/10

Same random assortment of weird random crap capcom throws out in their stories, it has potential, but like capcom they never follow through.

Sounds/Music: 8/10

The music and sounds are nice, nothing really stands out other then the nice intro song which I need to download. One nice thing I think more games need to do is the JPN/ENG voice selection system where you can choose each and every person voice, so you can have the good voices all around.

Graphics: 6/10

The graphics are unique, but are they good? Eh, the cel shading like cartoony graphics fit really well for some characters, but sadly, a number of the characters look flat out hideous law to name one.

Controls: 8/10

Well overall other then a couple of problems depending on your system and pad, but overall nothing to bad there.

Overall score: 4/10 Barely Average.

Rent or Buy? Well Rent is more then enough, but honestly, by something better and cheaper, you can easily get something better for alot cheaper.
